From the Studio Floor is a series of pop-up contemporary art exhibitions showcasing the talent of participating artists through works that are, as the name suggests, fresh from the studio floor, and previously unseen by the public.

About the curator – Jessica Oliver
Jessica Oliver works from landscape and natural environment in both paint and sculpture. Recently returned from living and painting in the Côte d’Azur, she established From the Studio Floor in 2014 inspired by her passion for the arts and the positive energy created from bringing pop-up exhibitions to the community. Having studied classical painting in Florence, Italy, and after pursuing her MAFA at Brighton University and BA in Fine Art Painting at City and Guilds of London Art School, she is also Art Director of a new London Art Residency and Gallery in Hackney Wick.
From the Studio Floor’ began with only a handful of artists showing latest works from their studios, the aim trying to bring the latest of up-and-coming artwork and artists to a new audience in an accessible and dynamic setting, all for a good cause. In the last few years growing and gaining a fantastic momentum, we now hope the pop-up-exhibitions will continue building on the success of previous shows and supporting not only the artists and charities we work with, but local schools and the wider community. Jessica has been an established Curator for these exhibitions as a key part of her artistic practise; taking the show from London, Cambridge and Suffolk to as far as New Zealand in the past six years.
